Previous IOP Involvement:
The Independent Observer Program has been involved in activities in Humboldt County since the 1990s. Since that time, IOP has been present at dozens of events and has been instrumental in promoting calm and orderly interactions among all participants. The IOP presence has been a pacifying element, time and again, as recognized by public citizens and law-enforcement officials both.
